Honoring Tradition, Embracing Inclusion

Moses Montefiore Cemetery Association Overview Image

Since 1926

The Moses Montefiore Cemetery Association upholds Jewish orthodox burial traditions while adapting to modern needs. In 2024, a new section was introduced for interfaith families, allowing Jews and their non-Jewish relatives to be buried together. Located in Appleton, Wisconsin, the cemetery is managed by an independent Board of Trustees and operates as a non-profit. The Association remains separate from the Moses Montefiore Congregation.
